Were back! The 20th annual Rich Vogler Memorial Scholarship Daytona party has moved back to the pavilion at Indianapolis Motor Speedway behind the former motel. We still have a lot of good auction items plenty of good racing fellowship and everything else that has made the party a GREAT place to watch the Daytona 500. Some of the live auction items include a helmet signed by all 09 Indy 500 starters, one of Rich's original uniforms, uniforms from Mel Kenyon, Critter Malone(the Red Top uniform from 16th St Speedway days) and Arie Luyendyk's wife Mieke. Many other items autographed by Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman, Parnelli Jones, Rick Mears, Sarah Fisher and many more. $20 per person/$5 for kids under 12. The doors open at 10:30, dinner will be at noon and the race begins at 1PM. The auction will be just before the race. Park in front of the old motel and go down the steps next to the east side of the building. The pavilion will be at the bottom of the stairs on your right. Come join us for a great time!
a huge item just added to the "Live Auction" list. the Vogler party has just acquired the full side of Michael Waltrip's #30 Penzzoil Winston Cup car. The bright yellow #30 car side is complete from headlight area to taillight area along with the full drivers side window with Michael's name above it. To complete this amazing display piece, it also includes 2 halves of brand new Goodyear racing radials (with hubcaps) to make this appear to be a perfect profile of the classic #30 car. Almost impossible to find NASCAR sheet metal in this form, it would make an unbelievable decor piece in your game room or cover one huge hole in the wall in the garage.
