We would like to thank everyone who attended the Hoosier Racers Swap Meet & Trade Show 8 in Indianapolis! Thanks to you, the show was the biggest yet, as attendance once again grew significantly!
When we first started this eight years ago, we had no idea doing a show such as this, that it would be received so well!! Again, thank you! With that said, we are always trying to improve the show, and maintain a steady growth. We are always open to suggestions, and have received, and followed, many through the years. One constant suggestion has been to extend the show, which through a positive vote from our vendors, we are going to try next year!
So in 2009, we will be doing a short "Show Preview" from 5pm-8pm on Friday January 30, 2009, before the doors swing open Saturday morning January 31st! Now with this, we will start now by letting everyone know that not all Vendors will be in the building yet. Many have to work or travel. This will be what it's billed, a "Preview"! Many Trade Show Vendors will be in place with show specials, along with some Swap Meet Vendors ready to deal!
At 8pm sharp on Friday, the doors will close to the public so that we may have a small "get together" for our vendors! Then on Saturday, IT'S SHOWTIME!!
To reflect this change, and growth of the show, we will also be changing our name! Like we mentioned, when we started, and named this show eight years ago, we didn't envision it's rapid rise form nothing! So starting next year, the new name of the show will be the:
INDY CIRCLE TRACK EXPO
This was the winning name, by a vote from our vendors, over 3 other possible names! We want to emphasize that NOTHING but the name, and the hours are changing. We promise that the heart & soul of this show will never change, no matter how big it may get. Thanks for your continued support and we'll see you next year! Shoestring Racing

You have a good thing going, Craig. Thanks for putting it together year after year.:respect:
Your entire staff is great to be around. Willing to listen, eager to help; positive attitudes across the board. Be sure to thank each one again as I'm sure you have already.
So we go to the EXPO next year...sounds like there will be room for more new ideas and innovations under a name like that.

It was a great show and I would recommend it to anyone...buyer or seller. The round table discussion KILLED traffic through the show, however. Those of us manning booths twiddled our thumbs. How about broadcasting the discussion throughout the building so that shoppers could listen-in but continue to stroll the isles? We could hear some parts of the discussion but out of context it made no sense. Maybe that should be the Friday night activity and leave all day Saturday to the swappers, sellers and buyers.

It was a great roundtable but we use the house mics along with the stage PA system. At the stage they heard everything. In the show they only heard the questions. Sorry about that couldn't find a house audio drop near the stage. That will be fix for the EXPO 09.
Thanks to all who stopped by our booth and attended the show. Biggest Crowd ever!
Hope everybody enjoys the GOAT Video.
Also thanks to Dru Teri & Dani and evrybody else who helped out.
