Was this car shown on the air? I recorded the auction on my DVR but still haven't watched any of Friday's, Saturday's or Sunday's event.

While there is no doubt that it is a beautiful car, I think that whomever wrote the copy for the article/note stretched the facts a bit. I don't know that any car ever won "....56 consecutive races...." as stated in the copy. But then, who, at Barrett-Jackson, was going to check/validate....

I agree. It also claimed that the car won 3 Little 500's. It won one, in 1963 with Johnny White.
