Can I paint over a powder coated wing. (New wing) I want to change the color. How well will it bond. Will it flake off or chip easily compared to powder coat.

powdercoated surfaces are a great substrate to spray paint on....but like anything you paint -prep is the key ,areas of concern on a wing would be around the rivits and any silicon that might used to seal the edges.....follow the paint manufacturers advice and I don't think you'll have any problems ...

i did powder coating for delta faucet. and did a lot of electrostactic operations before my job went to china. i would do alot of rework of parts. if you want to change your color be careful you can mix and match with no problem. but the best thing you can do is make sure the wing is clean and no dirt on it. i wish you the best and if i can assist you in any way i would love to here from you as i am still looking for employment and any offers would be great. good luck

Perhaps a vinyl wrap would be less trouble, less money, and better?
