I think Darland ran second or third to the Demon in one a couple of years ago.

Yes, DD did run 2nd to Damion in 2008 driving for Steve Lewis. Is big Steve renting cars these days?! Tanner Mullens, P.J. Jones & Jason Meyers. I could understand putting Jason in a car but the other two have paid for rides at the Bowl the last 2 or 3 years...

I thought Lewis sold out of the midget racing, but at the same time started a race preparations business headed up by Kelly Drake.

iirc They also ran the bowl in 2008 with Toyota powered midgets, but hadn't ran up until then in recent years.

Except Nine Racing competed in multiple events during the 2009 season with Dave Darland driving and Rusty Kunz wrenching. Obviously these are not just hired-driver deals for the Chili Bowl, but I think Lewis & Darland will have a slightly expanded schedule for 2010 as they plan to run basically every dirt midget race that pays well.

With the right amount of $$$$$$$$$$$ , I will gaurantee you that you will see the nine cars at the chili bowl.
