On most of the tracks, in Indiana, a 360 will be competitive, but I'm not sure that it's any/much less expensive, you've probably watched a lot of 360's run, and on the typical Indiana dirt surface, couldn't tell the difference. Most of the parts cost the same, just more cubes, there are exceptions of course, but I wouldn't poo poo a 360, at least for starters, some how ya gotta hook up all that extra Hp, and torque, and that can be a big issue.
