Wednesday, July 29th Coleman will celebrate his 16th Birthday. In his words, "Finally"! Over the years he has battled the age issue just like so many other young drivers. We have always told him to not rush it because before you know it, you will be staring 20, then 30, etc. in the face.

Now we can finally hear the end of, "Can I Drive"? when we go to the store or even the track. Seems a little odd that we drive him to the track to race Sprint Cars but hey, that's the way it goes for many.

Coleman will celebrate his Birthday traveling with his Team to Iowa Speedway to make his USAC Debut in his Silver Crown Car on Friday. We hope the Racing Gods will look kindly upon him in his new endeavors.

Happy Birthday Coleman.

Your Family.

Thank you Mike. Since we are traveling to Iowa tomorrow, we actually had a nice dinner tonight with some close friends here in Brownsburg, including that driver of the 53 car. We all enjoyed some Ice Cream after dinner. One of Coleman's closest friends from New York traveled out to Brownsburg this week to spend time with his buddy. Big Plans? We hope the plan includes seeing the Checkered in our first Silver Crown Race, regardless of where that is in the final standing. Oh, by the way, Coleman will be the first in line in the Morning at the DMV to get his permit. Look out World...

Keep the faith and that first SC checkered flag will present itself. Glad you enjoyed the evening and safe travels to the Hawkeye State. I guess that means that we won't be seeing you at the bullrings of Indiana this weekend?

Happy Birthday Coleman.

One Question, I thought you had to be 18 to run on a track 3/4 mile or larger in USAC

Happy Birthday Ice Man!
Just remember to take it easy in that baby-powder blue Camery, I don't think I'll handle like your sprint car.
And be sure to tell Ben, he needs to "Pony-Up" and make it a three race weekend!!
Good luck in Iowa!!
Angie & Dave

PS: Pete & Jill you might want to print a few decals that say "Student Driver" for that Camery.
And if you don't have time to make them, Dave said he could run by Thrifty Supply and grab a
few orange triangles if you need 'em.
