Ditto!!! I am so happy for you and all the guys. You are truly a class act. You might not have gotten the rewards from last weekend (even though you deserved it), but you did tonight. Congrats to you and all the gang!

Somebody needs to get Bryan in a pavement sprint car, so he can finish 2009 with USAC wins in Sprint Cars and Midgets, on both surface types.

Last night, overall, was a pretty good advertisement for the Marc DeBeaumont driver challenge thing, they have out there in Medera. With the instructor winning the midget race and the pupil, Alex Bowman, coming from the deep in the field to finish 6th. Both in DeBeaumont cars.

I'd love to see this guy in a decent IndyCar ride.

That would be awesome. He needs a break and I think the Indycar series could use him for sure.

Ganassi had him. That might have been a blessing for Bryan that they got rid of they're Nationwide teem. He's better than that! If the better NASCAR teems were smart, they would snatch him up. I don't think he would go the IndyCar route though. That's not where the money is right now. I know that he loves all racing & a lot of people would like to see him go that way, but looking at the big picture, you need to follow the money.

I never bought into the theory that short track open wheelers were handicapped by their lack of RE experience. I watched Foyt, Rutherford, the Unsers, and many more FE trained drivers compete rather effectively against the likes of well known RE stalwarts like Jack Brabham, Jimmy Clark, Jackie Stewart, Graham Hill and others. But, IMO the door was nailed shut for our guys and gals when the schedule went for so many road and street events (can't bring myself to call them races ), especially when the great majority of the movers and shakers in ICS are from the euro formula, road racing genre'.

I believe Bryan will return to a stable (well funded) NASCAR ride within a few seasons and will compete for wins and a championship.
