If you are taking Highway 46 west from Columbus to Bloomington be prepared for a delay in Nashville. They are repairing/replacing the bridge just south of the intersection of SR46 & SR135. Traffic got backed up quite a bit when I traveled through there around 5:30-5:45 pm last Friday.
Also, anyone who gets to the track by turning south off of SR46 onto Smith Road, which curves right and turns into Rogers Road, then you turn left on Sare Road, then right on Rhorer Road, then left on South Walnut Street Pike... the road is closed somewhere close to where Smith Road turns into Rogers Road.
If you are trying to bypass that road closing by going south on College Mall Road (which turns into Sare Road) traffic gets backed up at the stop light at Rogers Road.

Tim, if I were you I would take I-65 to 465 south at Indy, then take highway 37 south to Bloomington, then left on Fairfax road to the track.

Tim,
Chicago to Bloomington: I would take I-65 to I-465 South on the West side of Indianapolis. Once you are on I-465 go to Exit 8 which is State Road 67 South. Follow it to Martinsville, IN and turn left onto State Road 39. State Road 39 will join up with South State Road 37 and take to you Bloomington. Follow State Road 37 to the South side of town and make a left onto Dillman Road. Go 1 block to the stop sign and make a left onto Walnut Street. Follow Walnut Street approximately a mile to Fairfax Road and turn right. Bloomington Speedway will be about a 1/2 mile down on your left hand side.
Bloomington to Lawrenceburg: Take Fairfax back to South Walnut Street and turn left. Follow South Walnut Street to State Road 37 South and make a left. State Road 37 will take you to Bedford where you will find the junction with US Highway 50. Make a left onto US Highway 50 and follow it to Lawrenceburg Speedway. It will be approximately 2 1/4 hours.
Lawrenceburg to Kokomo: Turn left out of the speedway parking lot onto Eads Parkway. Turn left onto State Road 1 and follow it to St. Leon, IN where you will make a left onto I-74 West. Follow I-74 West to Indianapolis and go North on I-465. Follow I-465 around the north side of Indianapolis to Exit 31 which happens to be US 31 North. Take US 31 North to Kokomo and you will proceed to Morgan Street on the north side of Kokomo. Turn left onto Morgan Street and follow it to the second set of RR tracks and turn right onto Davis Street. Kokomo Speedway will be on your left approximately 1/2 mile.
Good luck and drive carefully. Hope to see you at one of the shows.

Tim,
Travel time from Lawrenceburg to Kokomo would be approximately 2 1/2 hours.
On your trip from Bloomington to Lawrenceburg there is a Travel Center of America (TA) truck stop with showers on Highway 50 @ I-65 in Seymour.
For the trip from Lawrencburg to Kokomo there is a Pilot Travel Center on I-74 at Exit 109 in Shelbyville, IN with showers. I hope that helps.
