Was a really good night of racing, 25 TQs and about 12 micros. The racing was good and was nice to see a new car owner win and Travis back in a TQ. I also thought it was nice Travis gave the trophy to the car owners wife who I believe is fighting cancer. Very classy act. Was a shame Roland and Petry had problems. Top 5 was Welpott, Gray(good run!), Terry Goff, Oogie Goff and Brent Turner. Hopefully as they go along more micros will start to run with them, makes for a nice combined show at the fairgrounds tracks.

Did the micros put on a good show? There will be more run with them if it continues but I think everyone was waiting to see how the first one went.My father and his driver Brandon Rose was there in the white and burgandy #12.They got a rock stuck in the carb's and broke one of the steering wheel spokes out of the steering wheel but dont know how they finished.Still cant figure out how you break the center of a steering wheel??????

They put on a great show, but it would have been better with more cars. I dont know that much about micros but we only had 3 wing cars show up and that rest were non-wing, so they all had to run non-wing. Don't know if that hurt any of the guys that drive with the wing? Sara Elrod was flat flying won by about half a straight away. The more cars the better. I run with the UMRA and it was nice to see other cars there, gives us more time to set up our cars, and I didn't know you guys went that fast lol they were all Hammer Down and Sideways, fun to watch!!

Great run Travis very well deserved!!! Thanks Warren for all your help getting us back together. Brandon also had a fantastic run Very nice! After talking with most of the Micro's they all had a great evening. The Micro's will be back to run with UMRA at Rushville on June 26th and 27th and then again on July 3rd and July 4th for the fireworks. We have the first race under our belt and appreciate all the Micro's that came out to race with us. I'm sure the word will spread and we will have more Micro's on June 26th and 27th. Congrats to Sara who took her wing off and still dominated. Please visit UMRA.com for all of the details which will be posted soon.

Please keep Susan Sanders in your thoughts and prayers!
