you can zoom in on them by right clicking and choosing zoom........i cant believe how far forward his head went during the initial contact with the wall.......vitor is a very lucky boy!

We were halfway up in turn one and had a perfect view of the crash, wow what a hit. It was loud! Very happy he has been released from the hospital. Those belts stretch a lot huh? Here's to the safer barrier.

Facing a long layoff and not much prospect of getting a better ride than the Foyt sled, could we have seen the last of Vitor in Indy specracers?????

He got a mushroom stamp !

The HANS did exactly what it was designed to do..... prevent traumatic injuries in a head on crash. Kudo's to the HANS folks! Saved his a$$ there!

Hope Vitor has a speedy recovery. I really liked him and hope to see him again in a cockpit of a car. Those are some amazing pics. Thanks for the post
