Yeah, I'll post a couple. Sorry about yesterday...I got caught up in the flurry of activity and never got back to updating that post. The qualifying line never did die down yesterday!!!

I'm saying bump speed will be an average under 11.9!

They had 40 cars take times and I hear there are a few more. We may have 10 cars missing the show this year. It's been a long time since the field has been this strong. Usually, the last row of cars are "field fillers" and are lapped every 5 or 6 laps. This years field is very deep! Should be an awesome race on Sunday.

Make it 47 total entries. Vennard has shown up today and is running 11.6s in practice. Mark hall is here now and down under 11.9. Also jeff bloom has entered his back-up car with Stan Butler driving! Should be a great bump day as just about everybody is faster than yesterday.

Thanks for the update! Sounds like we have potential for some big time drama during the final moments of qualifying.

Only brad armstrong and dave saxer are not here. Armstrong had engine trouble all day yesterday and saxer stuck it in the fence early yesterday. Practice is over...we're just waitin til 1:30 when qualifying opens.

My prediction is Geoff Kaiser will make the field and it sounds like Vennard is fast. Kaiser is the former holder of the wing track record so he knows how to get around Anderson.

This si going to be an awsome bump day! At 11.9 would equal a total time of 47.6 seconds. That means you think (right now) 26 27 Brian Gerster Fishers 47.610 2.339 is your bubble man. Only reason I have the calculations is because i was thinking the same thing :2:

Does anyone have any insight as to why there are so many more cars tring to get into this year field? As someone previously said, normally the last row or 2 is nothing but fillers. This years field is very very strong.

Vennard is in with a time of 47.145. That puts him 22nd, right behind rex norris. Tom Tolbert just waved off a run that was not fast enough. Feeney on the bubble.
