as of 6 pm on friday I-74 VCS is still on. Joe said the sun is out and and he will be at the track soon.
Joe Spiker said VCS will run if possible as scheduled.
If this changes I will post soon as I hear from Joe Spiker.

Good new is VCS will have Beer this weekend !!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome.....I am headed that way, about half way ther with the laptop.....As soon as I get to the track I will post what I see......

At the track now.....It is being graded, packed and prepped........More blue sky than cloud.......Go for Saturday.....

The Tractor and drag box has been taken around the pit area and is also being prepped.......

From the looks of the track...........IT WILL BE FAST!!!!!!!!!

I just talked with Joe Spiker and he said the track is looking better by the minute!

11:28 PM Friday Joe Spiker called to say that the track is fine and getting packed and the pits have been graded tonight. Everything is a go for Danville.

Any word on who will show up tonight? Can’t wait!

I know that the 71p will be there tonight.

This post is LIVE from the race track and it is LOOKING GOOOOOOODDDD!!!!!!! It is 9:50am CST and the work continues on the race track and the pit area.....The tractor and drag box continues to make passes through the pit area in a continued effort to dry it out for the big haulers.....Work will continue until we are satisfied.....Track work also continues with the top layer of mud being scraped off revealing a good looking layer of race track......It will be ready and it will be FAST!!!!!!
