Well, the Hidden Concepts Racing Team finally hit the track for practice this past weekend. Originally planning to practice across the street from the shop at the newly opened Battleground Speedway, rain in the area moved the debut over to 105 Speedway in Cleveland, Texas. Having rid ourselves of the Dirtworks, we put the "new to us" year old Skyrocket through the paces. We are running our old steel head motor while our "bullet" is being assembled. The car ran so well, Joe Mayhew, our driver, came out all smiles, and said something to the effect that the old DW car was trying to kill him last year.

Well, another weekend and another Playday. This time at Houston Raceway Park in Baytown. Ended early for two reasons. For us, because we broke another motor. At least this one was our back up. Our bullet is still being assembled and should be ready to go in two weeks. The car was fast and up until the end, it handled beautifully. Oh, the other reason Playday ended early was because of rain. Here are a few shots from today:
