My buddy went to North Wilkesboro a few years ago. THe caretaker let him roam around the grounds. He took some really good photos. The was a group trying to reopen the place but Bruton wanted a lot of $$$$$$$.

New Bremen Speedway is still there, covered grandstand, track... but too far gone to be resurrected. Earl Baltes sold the property with the stipulation that no racing could take place on the site. I'm not a fan of pavement but the D shaped track provided some great racing in the 60's. It was originally dirt, then pavement, then back to dirt before it was shut down.

The first race I ever scored was at Lancaster Speedway in Lancaster, Ohio (1984). Does anyone know what happened to this track?

I think there was a 25 year time frame thing there that has probably expired by now.:checkered:

 The most obvious is Mansfield. It ran last year. Great facilities. Needs a lot of $$$$$$ to maintain.
