So far on "Fast Friday" Larson is 6th quick with a 4-lap simulation run of
232.5 average.

Oh man, bad pun. Felt sorry for that kid, glad he is OK.

On a side note, began to wonder how committed Arrow McClaren was to Larson, how long does it take to change an engine and reset the car? He was left in the garage while Rossi and Pato O'Furniture got laps in, laps that Larson needed.

At least they seem to have their act together today.

Right now, Arrow McLaren has three out of the top ten speeds for the day.
Newgarden at 234 plus for quick time.
Carpenter 14th quick at 231.546.

I never thought Larson would be this competitive this fast, even with all of the McLaren drama, Larson is just proving how rare of a talent he truly is. I didn’t think he’d be in contention for the frigging pole of the Indy 500 with only 4 or 5 hours of track time.

You've missed the last 10-14 years.... GOAT.

Hope ALL the SC@M fans get behind this effort; buy any remaining tickets, consume all media, post about it on the socials, buy t-shirts, talk about it around the water-cooler; etc...everything that wasn't done when a bunch of the short track guys ran the IRL 25 years ago...

Maybe Kody Swanson could be the next one to get the call...

A mechanical issue with the car during his qualification run.
