Damn good show and it was great to see them run the high side throwing’ dirt on a slick track in the feature. Excellent show for the midgets. One flip in the feature on lap 5. Guy tumbled about 5-6 times in turn 3 and rung his bell a bit but climbed out under his own power.
Congratulations to Kyle Stark of Marshall, WI on setting a new track record for Midgets at Kankakee County Speedway.
Stark ripped his way around the 1/4 mike oval in 14.893 seconds.
During the feature event Stark was involved in a scary crash that sent him end over end several times after tagging the outer retaining wall in turn three.
After a slight delay Stark was reportedly alert and was transported to a local hospital where he treated and released with a slight concussion. We all at Kankakee County Speedway wish him a speedy recovery and all the best for a successful BMARA campaign.
