Xtreme Outlaw Series Midgets
·
Three new dates have been added to the 2023 #XtremeOutlaw Midget schedule! Plus, more info on the championship points fund breakdown 🤑
• July 28 – Ohio Valley Speedway (OH)
• August 11 – Path Valley Speedway Park (PA)
• Sept. 16 – Highland Speedway (IL)
The Highland show will be almost as good as Little Belleville. USAC/CRA/SCRA used to stop there on some of their Midwest swing trips. It's an old fairgrounds track and would suggest it's worth the trip to see it.

I saw MOWA put on a good race there even though there was some pothole dodging going on.
I may not be a very smart man, but perhaps this new series comes with a lower sanction fee than the longtime lead group??? Seems like 95% (or higher) USAC races are promoted by the track and not USAC? So if they "gave up on PA"; by that you mean they didn't lower their sanction fee to attract to more promoters; or did they (and the owners) really all say they do not want to go out there? (I have no idea. Just wondering).

I don't know anything about sanction fees or the economics of this. By "gave up on Pa." I only meant that there was no USAC midget tour in Pa.. No deeper meaning....
I just looked at their points for last year... no really big names, other than maybe Zach Daum & Cannon McIntosh. I wonder if USAC National teams will show up.. are they allowed to???
I wana hear it the way you meant it, but it sure sounded to me like you had some inside info and that USAC and the teams all decided not to go out there anymore...heck, maybe with Diesel prices it was that simple...I just can't believe if two or three promoters/tracks wanted USAC (at their standard sanction rate), they would just say no thanks we give up on PA...
What I can say is this: IF there are any cars around in the garages out there, perhaps they will feel like they have more of a shot to compete with this new series than USAC...whoever goes out there will be dependent on producing a full field. It will be interesting to see if there are more local guys that show up for this one or the USAC races of recent...I have NO idea how compatible the ARDC cars (engines) are nowdays...(but maybe a few teams might decide to throw their 8 year old engine in to run this new deal and go for a top 5, than USAC and hope for a top 12...or run their current OEM based style engine...if they can...)
