Rogers was about 4 seconds ahead but Beauchamp came from 12th to 2nd and had the lead down to about a second and a half but ran out of laps. He needed a yellow in the worst way. Beauchamp and Cody Trammel were both +10 positions. Checkered at 9:35.

There was heavy lapped traffic between Beauchamp and Rogers at the end, Beauchamp might have passed Rogers but there would have been lapped cars between Rogers and Beauchamp on a restart after a yellow. Rogers won his heat after two great slide jobs.
