Seeing a lot of talk about Aaron and the 83 busted for thin wall tubing, and hear that he's out on his ass. Also that the 2nd place car from Friday didn't pass the tire test. Guess that gives Kraig Kinser the win. Anyone got anything concrete?

It is the top story on www.speedsport.com. Reutzel is suspended for 30 days from July 31 and fined $10k and 1000 driver points. He has been released as driver of the Roth Motorsports car. Roth Motorsports IS NOT suspended from competition, but is also fined $10k, and 1000 owner points. The fine must be paid before they can compete again.
The way the story is written, it sounds like Reutzel was the person who admitted to the use of the illegal chassis and the attempt(s) to “slip” the illegal chassis by the inspection process. There is no mention of the impact to race results of prior races.
I remember a couple years back that Stockon wasn't allowed to run the WoO show at Haubstadt due to a DRC frame with thiner wall lower tubes. Don't think he was expelled, suspeneded or anything, Just not permitted to run.
DRC stood by the car. says it's completely fine to race. WoO and WRG say no.
End of story, Reutzel was trying to pull one over by putting a approval sticker from a different car on a non wing chassis and race. Apparently not the first time either. as the car was white before and they repainted it black.
