I have not seen Terre Haute with this quality of track surface in a long, long time. It was still rather dusty as many of the drivers commented on it after the race. Are there enough lights at the Action Track?

Half Miles are a totally different animal. As the list was published the other day on all time victory's in the Sprint division, it is important to remember most of the tracks were once half miles. The slide job is really not the way to go at these speeds.

The racing tonight was great, I really enjoyed it. Looking at the box scores one would think, "Oh, Windom drove away with it" and that may be the case. It was a straight up shoot out of skill and machine as Darland, Grant, Bacon and Ballou were just driving their ass's off keeping Windom in sight. Had Chris faltered, he would not have even made the top three. Good Show!

I believe there was a light bank out in turn one.
