My name is Mike Haley.Ive been on this website for a long time but didnt get a computer and start an account till recently.Everyone on here seems to have some sort of info and the info Im looking for has to do with my Uncle Phil Haley.My Dad Rick used to help him with his sprint car when I was a little kid(must have been 30 years ago or so).My Dad doesnt talk about it to much.But I know Phil lived here in Anderson and I dont really know how long he raced.I remember going with my Dad and setting in the stands to watch Phil maybe when I was 5 or 6,dont know for sure.Phil got some sort of desease that broke his muscles down and put him in a wheel chair and I think he died about 10 years or so ago.I cant really remember much about him because I was so young.Im 34 now so it had to be around 30 years ago he ran.I dont think he did any usac racing just local tracks here in Indiana but was just wondering if anyone out there might have remembered him or even have any pics or stories about him.Like I said my Dad doesnt mention anything about it so I dont know much.My Dad later helped Tray House and then when I got to be 16 or 17 we helped Billy Throckmorton.I was just wondering if any of the IOW family could help me with this info.Thanks alot to anyone who responds.
