So with the Big 500 running now without fans, what does that mean for the Little 500? Will the race happen this year? Grandstands are pretty full.

My guess is that Anderson Speedway does not have the people power employed to reduce and rearrange ticket holders like IMS did for 25% capacity. Therefore I expect within 2 weeks no changes, fill the place and hope for the best OR cancel outright. Madison County will make the call in consultation with the state and the track.

They tweeted today that there will be limited seating for the Little 500 and tickets are on sale now for $40 each

I wonder if the "Racing Families" are going this year?

Per the Anderson Speedway office this morning (8/6/2020), they are still planning to run the Little 500 on Saturday, September 5, but at 50% capacity. Renewal ticket sales account for approximately 2,000 seats, and they will continue to sell tickets until they reach the 50% mark. Seating capacity is 10,000, so you can do the math. Per the Anderson Speedway website, tickets are $40 as previously stated.

They are only allowing 50% capacity, but have no plan for spacing at this time.
