Just saw on Facebook that Ralph Liguori passed away at the age of 93.
Race In Peace, Ralphie the Racer!

Some years ago my wife and I were at Gas City and sitting in the bleachers during warm ups when the track announcer made reference to a younger Ligouri being on the track. I said he must be related to Ralphie the Racer Ligouri from years gone by. The guy sitting directly in front of me half turned and said he is, and I'm Ralphie the Racer. We all had a big laugh over it and went on with conversations about some of his escapades on and off the track. Anyway, we had a good time the rest of the night as he related some funny stories about the old days. He was a good story teller. RIP Ralphie!!!
