October 16th was a tragic day in auto racing as we lost not only James McElreath, but IndyCar standout in 2011 at Las Vegas.
Dan took the checkered flag twice at Indy in his all too brief career.

I still miss him. A real superstar and a top of the heap personality. Lionheart.
