Light rain to modest sprinkles with thunder at the moment. It will rain, question is how much. Crews were out packing the track down it seemed in anticipation of the front coming through.
Since they made the call early enough,I was able to make the trip down to Southern Illinois Raceway to see Joe B Miller "park it" after both the wing and non wing micro features. It's not too often one has a THIRD option for a race night when Mother Nature doesn't want to play nice.(Macon was the 1st option.)
Left Brazil in a pouring rain about 4pm and talked by phone to Ron Miller in Evansville a couple of times enroute. As we neared Princeton he advised us that TSS had rained out. Did a U turn, hotfooted it 100 miles to Putnamville and arrived as Sprint Car heats were in progress. Saw a pretty good race and even found a friend with a comp ticket to LPS. That's Racin'...
