I just thought I'd say good luck to the bear as he attempts another truck race at martinsville. I know he had her in the show at Bristol before his little incident. I hope he does well and I hope more drivers get opportunities like this. Not a NASCAR fan, but I am a racing fan and I like to see drivers tested in disciplines outside their norm. So good luck to Chris this week.

Best of luck to "The Bear" at Martinsville. He seems to adapt to the big heavy cars/trucks pretty readily.

I believe Windom's first foray into the stock car world came at The Springfield Mile in the Roulo Brothers ARCA car back in August of 2013. Chris qualified 6th at Springfield that day. I believe he ran as high as 2nd for a time in that race and took the checkers on the lead lap in the 6th position and they were able to drive the car onto the hauler relatively unscathed. Two weeks later Chris qualified the same car 5th at Du Quoin, he led almost 20% of the race and ended up running top 5 at the end also on the lead lap.

Not bad for having never been in a full sized stocker. Hopefully he has as good of a showing this week.

Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.

He ran the Wintron 32 at Daytona in 2010 (I think). Almost won the thing...
