Sundays MSCS show at THAT officially a rain out & not rescheduled. They had the same situation last year with the original date rained out AND the rescheduled date also rained out. Check Terre Haute's website for more info.

I find it very hard to believe they could not reschedule a date between now and the middle of October. Very disappointing.....THAT only has about 6 more races on the schedule for the entire year.

I think this approach was simply the more convenient alternative for MSCS and Track Enterprises.

Maybe you should consider promoting this event then.

Coming from somebody who I do believe makes money taking pictures of race car drivers and never pays any of them for it, this is a perplexing statement...I am not gonna argue with a keyboard/camera jockey, I will just say it is a lack of effort on everybody's part when it comes to re-scheduling....I don't know, but I can only assume you would have attended this race, stood down in the corner, took pictures, then posted the link to them on this website and others hoping somebody would buy some so you could make some free money off of the event and the drivers as well. So maybe you need to promote the event then Bob? You seem to have a lot more at stake in it and apparently you have more connections than I would have that you are trying to defend on a message board for some reason??

If I had enough money to promote events Bob, I would put you in charge of developing a system which would make me money from photographers who develop their product for free and never pay any money to guys that deserve it, the drivers. Without them, you have no pictures, no calendars that you have for sale,,,,no hobby, and no free money.

.

Steve,

Maybe you should do just a tad bit of homework before spouting off.

I have NEVER and I repeat NEVER sold a picture of a driver or racecar. Not in that business. Not for sale. No calendars, nothing. No Free money as you say. Please check you facts next time. 100% incorrect. Period.

Apologies accepted.

Your attempt to try to turn around your post to try to make it seem as if people who take pictures of racecars is a bad thing {promoting sport} verses what was really your attack on that Terre Haute promoter and the MSCS series, was a failed feeble attempt at best.

I am sure that scheduling and promoting is much more involved than EITHER of us have any clue about. For you to say that this decision was a "convenient alternative" suggests that you must have some type of insight into the process. I am also certain that you are completely aware of all scheduling dates and potential conflict of dates that are available to the track and traveling series to use.

And yes I would have been there to help pay for your purse and tow money.

Have a good day and see you at the track!

I'm just a race fan, who posts stories about races I've seen. Am I a "keyboard jockey" too, Steve?

Not sure Jerry..are you trying to be? I know you would have been there, so maybe you should write something explaining this was a race to give other local guys a chance at the half mile instead of taking a shot at me. We know we can go enter the races against all the USAC teams, but I pay the bills out of my own pocket and I decide where and who we race against.

The point to this whole thing was simple, maybe if enough teams make a stink about it then they might get have reconsidered and rescheduled or announced a new date. It is very hard to get ahold of decision makers sometime and I wanted to see if any other race teams felt the same way.

Bob, if you are not selling the stuff posted on your website I apologize. I didn't have enough time to look through everything that you have posted. But there was still no reason to spout off something about me promoting races,,,we race, spend thousands to do it, and love it...we will still support MSCS 100% even though we aren't always gonna agree on everything.

I mean it looks like you can buy the pictures...does that just mean that nobody ever purchases the pictures??
