The elephant in the room is now addressed. Seems like it does take up a lot of space, does it not?

Thank you, '66.

Because Bill setup a way that all ASCS and USAC press releases post to the site under Admin.
All Admin post lock and drop in three days.

Don't know all this for a fact but it is how it works.
I just don't read it, Even though there are some ASCS guys who occasionally I get to see race. I don't keep up with it. Some may and that's ok too

Its all about views and clicks to pay for this site remember awhile back they merged two choices from front page trying to get more posts everyday still not happening. Just like today not even a half page on the main page they want to use. Like everything else these days heading backwards only one track in Indiana running 410 wingless pretty much every week now and that is LPS on Saturday nights, Sunday nights does have a weekly track been that way for a few years now and you can also throw Friday nights in same category. They need people to visit everyday to pay for it and are trying to do what they can to encourage people to view IOW as the racing volume is not what is once was.

Elephant in the room? I would think if someone has a problem with them posting so much, they spend too much time on the board. If you it doesn't interest you simply scroll past it. I don't read it often, but occasionally a headline catches my eye and I take in the sprint car information. I would say that there are other organizations that should try to follow their lead and post a bit more.

All this is "new" news to me. Thank you for opening my eyes. Let me see if I have this right:

The ASCS, and USAC posts blast the main thread board with "news". Hardly anyone ever replies to these "news" articles on this thread, which is basically for discussing sprint car racing amongst us fans. However, if I click on the article, it somehow vibrates back to the poster who is helping finance this site and they profit?

Sounds fair..... I guess. I'll just commence to click away like a crazy b-astard from now on with respect to every post as such, not reading any of them, helping out all involved $$$ wise (somehow), and then scroll down, possibly to the next page because of said posts, and continue on to where there is something someone wants to chat about.

Learn something every day...... I guess.

I can assure you, Sir, that my full-time job just provided you with the opportunity to express your OPINION on a site that my husband busted his hump to create.

FACT: Free site

FACT: Admin posts are the result of news releases coming from racing organizations. This opportunity is available to any track/organization and is NOT paid advertising!

Instead of being concerned about ASCS or USAC posting news articles or race results here you should be concerned about individuals who post to advertise/promote their own websites

Or maybe the quality of the ASCS tv racing. Along with NASCAR they probably do more harm to promoting raci g to potential new fans.

It's the best open wheel racing forum on the planet, why the heck would anyone complain!

Just an FYI, The Admin news feeds lock after a few days. That's the main reason we don't post in them.
