Does anyone know of any tracks in the Illinois Indiana area that have midgets as part of their weekly show. Looking for seat time. It's not a d2 legal car. Thanks

We race full Midgets at the Montpelier Motor Speedway (East Central Indiana) on a bi-weekly basis. You can see the full schedule, rules, payouts, etc at www.MontpelierMotorSpeedway.com

Sure would be nice if a Southern Indiana track could take on the Montpelier Midgets off dates. Honest Dad himself | ||

I feel like with everyone seeming to always be down on Twin Cities for whatever reason that this idea could be something to get that track more notoriety.

^^^ I'd love to see that, as it's less than 20 miles from my house. Also last year, the mini sprints non wing seamed to put on a pretty good show, so I'd say that midgets would be pretty comparable in terms of performance. However you've also got to take into consideration that TCRP is a predominantly fender car track with a pretty full weekly schedule as it is, however last year some of their classes seamed to be severely lacking in competitors, I think one week there were only 3 super mods that showed up while we(the MMSA) were there. I'd personally love to see midgets replace the hornet class.
