Just curious what the weight rules are for midgets and sprint cars

let's take an average driver these days 170 Pounds, some lighter, some bigger, but can a standard car come close to weight, or do u have to buy lightweight parts/bolts etc.

cheers

Pretty tough to get 1325 with even a 150 lb driver. gonna need a lot of ti and lw lines unless a place takes rubber and eats the tires off

USAC = 1325, WoO = 1425. I wouldn't think the wing, brackets and other stuff is 100 lbs.

Championship team I know says the car will make weight Without the driver. While they do use some lightweight parts here and there. Carbon Fiber is heavier than plastic and they also use heavier duty parts in some areas like brakes. Front axles which they make themselves and a few other things.
Reasons, You can be the fastest car out there, But if you don't finish. It's all for naught.
