What is the best chain brands to use for 1000cc engines what are the pros and con to o ring chain and most importantly do use master links or do you peen yr links together

EK chains are going to be the best value for the money , there are 2 products that they have that are very good for what we do.
EK DR 2 drag chain rated at 10,500 lbs tensile strength.
EK DRZ 2 drag chain rated at 11,500 lbs tensile strength ,

We use the second one , the price difference between the two is minimal and you will not break these things .......we use the master with a clip and have never had a failure , replace it often and pay attention to what your doing and neither will you , always clean and lube your chain .
Just like anything else ...attention to detail will pay you back good performance .

We tend to stay away from the cheap stuff , chain on a roll type of stuff , industrial chain .....it's cheap for a reason !!!!!
