I was wondering everyone's thoughts on the restart on the A main. Was there anything malicious about what Darland did? If it wasn't his teammate in the lead, would he have moved out of the racing groove?
I know that Darland is well liked by the fans on this board and by fans in general. Since I am a BC fan, I was happy with the outcome, but just like the announcer, I was surprised that Darland did not give up the groove. |

Speculation like this is why I have so many IOWers blocked. Too many cases of "knows not and knows not that he knows not"

DD dived down off the banking on the restart on his way to the preferred line on top. others made the same move. Bell just ran the top on the restart so it maybe looked like a block possibly. DD did though run the higher line for one complete lap before moving down, but he was at speed and did not seem to be holding Bell up. No rule against that I know of. Interesting in Bell's interview when He Thought he took the lead after passing DD and didn't realize there was another 63. I kind of thought I was a quick yellow anyway as Coons got off right as it was thrown but that I'm sure is a tough call. In the end I don't think anyone had anything for BC.
