Just what we need - another sprint car sanctioning body.:kookoo This is pretty vague. Is it wings or no wings? Is this not competition for their own WoO sprints?
What are the particulars? |

UMP doesnt sanction any series besides the UMP Summernationals. All the local tracks would do is just call their Sprint Cars the UMP Non Winged Sprints, and then they would be racing for National Points. Its not a tour. The UMP Late Model National Champion recieves $30,000 at the end of the year.

So why do the LM drivers scream at the UMP sanction? Our driver swore them off when they started dictating cutting body parts and kicking in side panels yet they are good enough for World One Hundred or about any other national big race.
This also doesn't clarify traditional or winged. I think we have a pretty good one but that group is reluctant to raise purses, expecially thru the pack. Why not improved upon the two midwest series we have? The UMP deal has always been confusing anf seems to favor one track over another in number of points a driver can get. Chuck

Ok I am just asking a question am I the only one worried about the tracks here not working together as well if this happens. I am not saying it will just wondering out loud is all. Here in Indiana we have it really good all the the tracks working with one another to give us the fans the best racing around JMO. I am not trying to start a fight here this UMP thing just has me thinking out loud is all.
Thanks |

so many people have been talking about things similar to this on here, are you really surprised ump stepped up? This might help the odd tracks get a few more cars. Like the ucs deal. the sprints were just raceing for money, but if could have been a ump points race. might help to drawl 1 or 2 more cars.
