RAIN CLAIMS PEORIA’S “BRAWL FOR IT ALL”

USAC’s Southwest and West Coast Sprint car series take a hiatus this week after rains forced cancellation of last Saturday night’s “Brawl for it All” event at Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Ariz.

The Southwest Sprint cars resume October 11 at Prescott Valley (Ariz.) Raceway and the West Coast Sprint cars resume November 6 as the opener of the “Budweiser Oval Nationals” at Perris Auto Speedway in Perris, Calif.

R.J. Johnson continues to lead the Southwest standings and takes a 130-point lead over Charles Davis Jr. into the Prescott Valley race.
