Twice today I've logged onto IOW and got a popup that this site is a Web Forgery from my Anti Virus. I know Bill was a wiz with script etc. But Im hoping there is someone who can take care of the problem. Its probably a advertiser or something that's alerting the anti virus to a problem. IDK.

Thanks to anyone who can help. Its not happened anywhere else. So Im thinking its not my computer.

I haven't seen any problem, Chuck and I've been logged in on three different computers in the last 24 hours.

using firefox. I've also had pop ups that said browser needs updated click here. We'll there's only two ways that I will do that. There's a tab to check if your up to date on the browser or it will do it itself at start-up. It says up to date Version 31.0, I restarted and Im running my Virus software to see it it has caught something.

Don't be alarmed could be me but only IOW is doing it and not all the time, Sometimes when I switch to another topic thread and sometimes not at all.

I checked my security settings on my browser too and I have block reported attack sites and reported web forgery sites. I've gotten both of them messages. Maybe I just haven't gotten the update to the browser yet, I've had that take 24hrs before what seemed like everyone else got theirs.

Chuck, I use both IE, and FireFox, and no trouble with either today, you might ck your programs, and see if something hasn't snuck in, I had a problem a couple of weeks ago, that came in with an MS update some how, so I deleted everything with that date on it, except the stuff from MS, and it's been OK since. I'm using W7. Bob

Three hours later, I came, left, clicked around and haven't had a problem since. IDK. I did run my scan but it found nothing. Probably the browser sending bogus alerts.
