DMA MIDGETS RESUME JUNE 14 AT BEAR RIDGE;

PIERSON GETS 2ND DMA WIN AT BRADFORD

Adam Pierson will enjoy a 40-point lead entering the June 14 (Flag Day) resumption of the 2014 USAC DMA Midget Series. He recorded his second victory of the year at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. last Saturday.

Pierson, of Bradford, Vt., extended his point lead as a result of Saturday night’s 25-lap feature victory. He passed Scott Viets on lap five and led the rest of the way to beat Josh Sunn, Tim Hodge, Ray Miller and Jeff Champagne.

Miller led the first lap and Viets led six before Pierson took over.
