This is my plan B for Sunday night. I saw the MALS at California & New Florence last year and both were good shows. I was at California last night and they had 20 Sprints; with this week being an ASCS Regional race I would expect a few more than that.

One disappointing thing was that racing didn't really get going until 8:10 or so (and folks around me mentioned that other nights had gotten off to a late start also) as they had problems with one of the water trucks. I was still out of there before 11 and home a little before 1 (120 miles).

Have you guys had any luck rescheduling the show that was going to be at Montgomery Motorsports Park in August?

Double-X is a great place to watch a sprint car race and is probably the best suited race track for lightning sprints in our area! The place will be standing room only this weekend and they LOVE there open wheel cars!!

MMP is still a little up in the air right now. I did get a call from last years promoter telling me that they are looking at doing some specials later this year and would like to have MALS be a support class. Said he would get back to me mid June. We are keeping our figures crossed that they can salvage something from this year. It would be a real shame to see that track just sitting their and not being used. I will keep everyone posted ASAP.

Hope plan B works out for you.. You wont be disappointed!
