Please join us at Plymouth Speedway for the first annual BOB NEWTON CLASSIC. Bob Newton founded Hoosier Racing Tire and see the stars of the SOD Sprints tackle the big 1/4 mile for this special event honoring Bob Newton! Drivers from MI, IN, and Ohio will be racing for honors to be the first winner for this inaugural event!

Also on hand will be our great field of regular UMP Mods, now featuring Kenny Wallace. The track has been averaging 30 UMP Mods each night.

In addition USAC 600 open winged sprints will be battling out on the 1/6 mile Bullring. As the season gets closer to its conclusion, a tight points race for the first ever USAC 600 sprint championship roars on.

USAC 600 restricted winged sprints will also compete on the Bullring to crown the first ever USAC 600 restricted champ.

Pit gates open 3pm, registration ends at 5:15. $30 pits
General gates open at 4pm. $18 adult general.

Was talking to some people last night from Motorstate Distributing. And they are saying that there is go to be a good field of cars Saturday between SOD and NRA sprints. And the track crew has the track in good shape so it should be great action. We are planning on camping there and i hear alot of the employees that work at Hoosier Tire at the factory in Plymouth, are going to be tailgating before the races in the parking lot. I wonder if Kenny Wallace will have something for the local Plymouth Modified drivers.

Drove past the track to check it out to see where we are going to camp. They were out working the track and it looked awesome and ready to race. Talking to the guy that works the track that looks like Willie from Duck Dynasty, says he has learned alot from Larry Kemp and Bob Sargent. He is working at having the track fast around the top this weekend. Hope to see everyone there to support them, as the place keeps getting better and better. Glad to have a dirt track bad in northern Indiana.
