DMA MIDGETS RESUME AUGUST 10;

PIERSON NOTCHES 3RD DMA WIN AT BEAR RIDGE

The USAC DMA Midget Series takes the week off and will resume action August 10 at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt.

Adam Pierson of Bradford continues his recent mastery of the track Saturday night, winning the 25-lap feature. It was his third victory in the last four races. He led the final 16 laps, beating Joe Krawiec, Timothy Gallant, Scott Holcomb and Dylan Duhaime.

Mike Chaffee led the first lap and Duhaime led the next eight before yielding to Pierson.

Kevin Chaffee, ninth Saturday, holds a two-point lead over Krawiec as the two former series champions continue their battle for the 2013 title.
