How much difference is there between dirt front axle vs a pavement axle? Is it advisable to run the weld direct mount hubs on pavement as well? The parts are for a sprint car if that makes a difference. Thank you

Pavement axle is usually a little wider and the pickup points are further out on the right to give the car stability.
Direct mount hubs on the right front are not a good idea. USAC banned them when they ran pavement sprints. Too many of them breaking at places like Winchester. If you did run them, you would need to use a left front hub on the right side to put a brake rotor over there. |
