Has anyone got any info on how to set the chain length/tension using a Foz chain tensioner. I let the rear axle go down as low as possible and set the chain as tight as I could, but once I put the set up blocks back under the axle the chain was very slack, is that how it runs or am I doing something wrong? thanks

should set using radius rods with driver in car or standing on back(chain loosens with driver weight). Not to tight leave a little wiggle about a 1/4 inch then block using spring/bar adjustment

What I do is out the car on the ground and tighten chain. I get pretty tight with just a little slack. Then lean on left side of car and you want about 1/4" slack. Ran it this was all year last season with no isses.
Hope that helps Posted via Mobile Device |
