When our boys were little we had a gentelman tell us that you could judge what kind of a parent you had been by how your kids turned out.
I would say that Danelle and Shane are top notch parents. Courtland we are very proud of the young lady you have become. Jerry,Sarah and Josh Spencer #66j stida.com |

Very commendable act for such a young person. This is one of the nicest stories I've read about in a long time.

Thanks Spencer Family and everyone else for the kind words! We are pretty proud of her kind, giving heart. She has a FB page if anyone wants to join. It is called Courty Cares. Here is some of the info she has on her page about accepting donations:
Mission To provide toys to the cancer kids at Riley and keep the Ronald McDonald house supplied with travel size toiletries Description Courty Cares accepts toy donations for the cancer Children at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Toys must be new, latex free, and unwrapped. We need toys for all ages....infant to teens. In addition to toys, we are asking for travel size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, etc. These items will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House to be available to the families staying there. If you are unable to bring a toy to the drop off party or other events that will be held at a later date, you can make a money donation to the Courty Cares Toy Drive account at either Solidarity Federal Credit Union location or they can be mailed to: Solidarity Federal Credit Union PO Box 2499 Kokomo, IN 46902 General Information In addition to toys and toiletries, you can make a money donation to the Courty Cares Toy Drive account at either Solidarity Federal Credit Union location in Kokomo, IN or they can be mailed to: Solidarity Federal Credit Union PO Box 2499 Kokomo, IN 46902 Toys and travel size toiletries can be dropped off or mail to: Advanced Medical Imaging 2008 W. Boulevard Kokomo,IN. 46902 Thank you all so much. I can speak for the parents and kids we have given donations to...it is truly appreciated and gives the kids something to smile about!
