On Friday December 14th from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm please join us for an evening at the Circle of Lights in downtown Indianapolis. A whole new complete twist like no other as the UAW Motorsports team will have their cars and drivers on display on the southwest corner of Monument Circle to ring bells for the Salvation Army Kettle campaign. It will be an evening of champions to celebrate the accomplishments of the team while being able to give back to the community.
We will have on display the cars of the United States Speed Association Sprint Car Challenge Built By the UAW and the Mel Kenyon Midget Series. We will have the legend himself Mel Kenyon on site ringing bells. From the Indianapolis Speedrome we will have the 2012 World Figure 8 Champion Ben Tunny, along with his brothers Jesse Tunny and Austin Tunny and the World Figure 8 Champion Bill Tunny in addition we will have Stock Car Champion Nigel Peters of Peters Motorsports. To continue the night of champions we will have Championship Racing Association’s (CRA) 2012 Late Model Sportsman and 2012 Street Stock Champion Jimmy Kirby. In addition we will have 2-Time World Figure 8 Champion and now dirt track race from US Five Racing Duane Lee and finally we will have our latest addition to UAW Motorsports Tyler “The Wheel Man” Morefield who at the age of 6 years old will be racing in the IDKA series for dirt carts.
Please take time to come down to the Circle of Lights this Friday and enjoy what the City of Indianapolis has to offer, enjoy seeing race cars and drivers up close for pictures and autographs, and to make a donation to those in need this Holiday season.
