I believe all Hondas are sleeved aluminum blocks. Some are even aluminum sleeves [nickasil] that have been nitrided.

Are you talking about sleeving a block for repair or about using Darton sleeves??
If sleeving a block for repair make sure after overbore that the sleeve is a least .100 wall per side. I have installed the Darton sleeves before for guys that want to make big horsepower and race them not really sure if it's nessary.

Open Deck Sleeve Aluminum to be exact, I know Honda blocks very well. The shop I work for does primarily drag racing but venturing out to all the Midget and Sprint Car stuff seeks my interest.

What I mean exactly Bobby, the shop I work for, makes great sleeves, Golden Eagle. I'm just looking around on the Sprint Car and Midget forums to get some more information. Perhaps the shop might have a future in getting our stuff out to the Sprint Car world.

Just to be technically correct, Nikasil is a proprietary coating, not a stand alone metal sleeve.
