$50,000 USCS Fall Nationals @Riverside Nov. 2nd-3rd

Riverside Speedway’s 4th annual USCS Fall Nationals season finale On Friday and Saturday, November 2nd and 3rd has got it all for racers and fans.

Atlanta, GA – Oct. 25, 2012 – Parts Plus Riverside International Speedway’s 4th annual USCS Fall Nationals www.uscsracing.com presented by Goodyear on Friday, November 2nd and Saturday, November 3rd has got it all for people who like to see fast race cars go in circles on a tacky action-packed one quarter mile Gumbo clay oval. There should be enough door-to-door and wheel-to-wheel adrenaline-pumping action for even the most avid race fan with a total of over 300 laps of racing in 5 divisions. Drivers from at least 8 states are expected to compete for the $50,000 in prize money.

The legendary Speedway’s 63rd and season final 2012 sprint car race is headlined by the wheelie' popping,' 700 horsepower, 1300 pound Goodyear sponsored United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour winged outlaw style sprint cars racing for a possible $10,000 top prize in the “Flip Flop 50”.

Joining the winged sprint cars for the $50,000 season finale will be the popular 600+ horsepower K&N Filters USCS Outlaw Modifieds. The schedule also includes the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series for Winged 600cc Mini Sprints. Additionally the Limited/Crate Late Models and Riverside Stock Cars/Street Stock divisions will contest two nights of wide-open racing action.

The USCS presented by Goodyear winged sprint car racing format on Friday night features a racing program that includes the Goodyear Speed Dash for the top six cars from the previous main event at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi on October20th followed by the sprint car qualifying heat races. The top qualified drivers via passing points then compete for the top starting spots in the K&N Filters Pole Scramble event. The K&N Filters Pole Scramble will determine the line-up for the front four rows of Saturday night’s USCS presented by Goodyear “Flip Flop 50” (twin 25-lap main events) first main event. The first USCS sprint car main event starts straight-up and the second one fully inverted.

On Saturday evening the winged USCS sprint cars will contest a series of B-Main/Last Chance races that determine the final line-ups for the first of two 25-lap main events. The first main event will start the field straight-up from their final qualifying order and pays $2500 to win. The second 25-lap main event will start with the field fully inverted from the finish of the first main event. The winner of the first race will start in last position. That race also pays $2500 to win with a bonus of $5000 to any driver who can win both races after starting last in the second event.

The K&N Filters USCS Modified Touring Series “Riverside Twins” topless optional event will see some of the Nation’s top open wheel modified drivers contest a full program of racing both nights including; time trial qualifying, the USCS Modified Power Dash, qualifying races and a 25-lap main event on Friday night. The mighty Modifieds return on Saturday evening with a full program of action identical to Friday’s format with the 25-lap main event awarding USCS Modified Touring Series points each night. The USCS Modified drivers are shooting for a possible top prize of $2500 for a weekend’s sweep. The drivers have the option of racing with or without their roofs in this division.

The new www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series Winged 600cc Mini Sprints will also wage war twice with a complete program both nights competing for a possible $1500 to win both the Friday and Saturday night main events. Friday night’s program features a $500 to win 20-lap main event and Saturday will see the USCS 600 Sprint Car Series drivers chasing a $1000 top prize. A weekend sweep could net a $1700 payday for one driver.

Joining the racing card for the $50,000 USCS Fall Nationals 2012 season finale will be the track’s popular Limited/Crate Late Models with drivers from around the Mid-South expected to compete for a top prize of $1500 in that division. The Late Models also have the option of running topless for this event. Additionally during the 2012 version of the USCS Fall Nationals the Riverside Stock Car/Street Stock division is scheduled to go 25-laps for $1000 to win their Championship main event.
