Drove past it last weekend and they are already building the condos but they are leaving part of the facade up. Pretty sad, I loved that joint.

I drove past there yesterday and was totally surprised. A neat old facility that really did need a face lift. The last time I saw it was really sad.

I hope that it can bring the area back to life. It certainly wasn't anything other than an eye sore just sitting there abandoned. Glad to see that they are preserving some of the facade. I wonder what they will do with the old light towers?

Wouldn't some of those seats be a nice addition to the Gas City Grandstand?
