Any Idea about purse, and or and Pay-out. You are running up against Montpelier Speedway the same night. They have there purse posted, Either track is a long haul for us.

For the car count we had over there the last time i dont blame them for not paying more for second and third, there was only 10 cars show up and i think eight actually ran the intire feature it wasnt like you had to run your A** off to get up to second, I know Jimmy lost money on the deal so im not gonna complain about the payout, I ran third and was a little dissapointed that i only got 100 but i understand, with the car count we had its a little tuff for them to pay anymore. At least jimmy shows support to the mini sprints and gives us a place to race. They did pay what they advertized and it was $700 to win and $100 to start. Im sure if we had more cars we would have gotpaid more, But thats racing sometimes you have a bunch of cars and sometimes you dont have any.

Those guy's were great to us a couple of years ago. They kept the AMSA afloat when they had no other place to run. I had never seen so many sidewinders before in my life. I can still remember camping out in their pits after the race and heading back south at day break. Those were the days my friend. Almost as good as Brown County Ohio with the Buckeye 600cc mini-sprints.

The track was a little small for us but it was always racey. It had a neat little coushion.

Gas was a lot cheaper and I had a lot more money then.

Dad we would love to have you race at U.S. 24 with the A.M.S.A. the payout will all depend on the car count. It won't be as big as the one before for that wasn't a A.M.S.A. but this one is. so if you want to race and have some fun come on and join us. just come to the A.M.S.A. trailer for the pill draw. hope to see everyone there.

Well went to Thunder Valley last night. Won the heat, car seems to be flyen. Blew up ****** old plastic electric water pump. This old R@D gets old but I'm having fun and only had to drive 30 miles back home so I figured I made TON OF MONEY.

If a mini sprinter wanted to race w/o wings this weekend and did not want to go up aganist full midgets I could almost guarantee You would have a ball up at US 24 speedway.

Just to change the subject a little another promoter once booked some races way over on the West Virginia Boarder and in order to improve car count he just guarantee gas money for that race (took purse provided by track and divided it up between all the racers that showed up) With gas the way it is that might be a way to improve car count until we get gas prices under control again! And get a big old dust collector for the winner.
