I'm leaving tomorrow too. If you get a chance you can got into the infield at Terre Haute like Williams Grove so that’s pretty cool to check out. Don't know about the camping side, but I can tell you this you'll have a blast at both those tracks! I’ll likely be down in one and two at Terre Haute taking photos before I lose the light. If you see a guy with a white Gettysburg ball cap on that me. Stop by and say hello.

We've camped at the Fairgrounds at Terre Haute several times over the last 4 or 5 years and I don't believe tent camping will be any problem at all. But, I know of no shower houses on the Fairgrounds at Terre Haute. There may be some shower facilities but I'm not aware of any. Some of the guys that live near Terre Haute may know of facilities you can use. They'll probably charge you a little something for camping but I can't think it would be too much. We camped on the Fairgrounds for the Hulman Classic on our way to Indy on the Thursday before this past Memorial Day. We were plugged in to electric and hooked up to water and they charged us $20.00 so I would guess tent camping would be somewhat less than that. There is a camping area that has a lot of shade straight South of the turn 4 bleachers and the far West end of the covered grandstand. You probably will be able to pitch your tent somewhere in that area and there will be electricity available and water hydrants if you need water. Have a great time!

There are showers in the Gerry Olsen Memorial $hithouse just behind the main grandstand.

If you are bringing Yuengling you will attract Aero for sure. He can sniff that stuff out from miles away.

I highly recommend taking a lawn chair to LPS I went for the first time and found the bench seating less than comfortable. The good news is despite 100+ temps the track was still stellar. I'd expect the same Thursday...

Coolers and beer allowed to be carried in at THAT, with the obvious "NO GLASS" rule. Bag chairs and infield for the best time. LPS has a beer booth now, so NO carry in beer. Once again, as said before, bag chairs recommended for LPS. If you're arriving early at LPS and want a treat, check out the post about the HARF Pit Party starting at 1 pm. Only open to HARF members but it's only $15. to join. Just a suggestion, bob.
