Today's Video of the Day is the USAC Silver Crown Series' first visit to the Richmond International Raceway in Virginia. The 134 lap, 100-mile event took place on June 17, 1995 under the lights. I have included two different versions of the race. There is the full version in 5 parts OR there is a condensed, edited 15-minute version at the bottom of the page if you dont have the time to watch the entire race.

Enjoy!!

(Part 1/5)

(Part 2/5)

(Part 3/5)

(Part 4/5)

(Part 5/5)

I watched this race on TV. Too bad ESPN doesn't broadcast any USAC racing today.

A pretty good example of why Jack Hewitt is a racing hero to so many.

Who were Keeker and Hewitt driving for in that race? I just started watching it while I am stuck in Cleveland for work.

I sure miss the Gary, Larry and Dave shows. They were a big reason I am a fan today.

Keeker was driving for Gene Nolen. Hewitt was in the Bob Hampshire car.
